early Morning activities
7:30 am // Bridal party breakfast, champagne, hair and make-up begins. Apparently it's not possible to look pretty and go swimming/kitesurfing/surfing on your wedding morning. We are going to go for a swim the night before though.
9:30 am // Phil and his mountain biking mates will be heading out for a quick ride (nothing too adventurous as we don't want any trips to A&E...Mike!)
11:o0 am // Coach picks up wedding guests from St Brelade's Bay Hotel to take them to the ceremony.
the ceremony
12:00 pm // The wedding ceremony will take place at St Saviour's Parish Church. Incidentally, it is the same church where Carol-Ann's parents were married 40 years ago this year - Happy Ruby Wedding Anniversary Wendy and Stephen! It is also where Carol-Ann's sister, Tarina, was married.
The bride can be expected to be a few minutes late but don't worry, she will turn up (eventually).
1:00 pm // The coach will depart St Saviour's Parish Church to return to the hotel for the reception. The bride and groom will disappear for a few photos down at St Ouens beach.
the reception
1:30 pm // Canapés, Pimms and bottled beers will be served on the lawn at St Brelade's Bay Hotel. There will be live music to entertain you whilst you soak up the atmosphere.
2:30 pm // The bride and groom join the party! Hopefully the guests will have left us a canapé or two.
3:00 pm // The Wedding Breakfast (a.k.a. Lunch) will be served. After lunch there will be a champagne toast and speeches.
5:30 pm // Live entertainment.
the AFTER PARTY
7:00 pm // Guests arrive for the After Party. There will be an evening buffet of pizza slices, bacon rolls and vegan friendly, gluten free delights.
8:00 pm // First dance followed by a guest DJ set.
12:00 am // Carriages.
